Mom Time TV is all about talk, stories, what worked, what didn’t. Knowing we’re not alone and accepting help from each other along the way. Taking refuge in the force rather than the farce. Living the life and loving it, because we’re not alone. The Mom Time TV radio show is comprised of all different moms with all different experiences sharing our stories, successes, failures and allowing the listener/participant to decide if it makes sense to them and what to pick up on versus what to leave behind. Because we’re all different…and our decisions are all based on our own facts. A lively, fun discussion of motherhood and making it as a mom.

Furr founded PictureThatSound to fill an unmet need in the US memory-
keeping market. PictureThatSound is the first product to combine the

capture the ultrasound image with the heartbeat sound in her scrapbook

capture a photo and an audio snapshot of that memory, all in one.”
Jennifer Furr, 40, resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Carl, and

Next Tuesday, we will be interviewing Sally about her book, her story and all that she has learned along the way about making our dreams a reality. It is real privilege to be speaking to Sally on the eve of her book’s U.S. publication. Our Truly Amazing Woman this week is Jeane Goforth, founder of Scrollworks, a Birmingham, Alabama based program giving free music lessons to children from low-income families. On Sunday, February 27th, NPR did a large piece of Jeane and Scrollworks to highlight grassroots efforts in Birmingham, AL to heal the wounds of segregation. Jeane is an inspiration to motherhood. Instead of worrying about being an empty nester, she sold her home in an affluent Birmingham neighborhood and moved into a part of Birmingham where Scrollworks could make a difference. Not only does Scrollworks offer free music lessons to kids, it also organizes and pays for tickets to take the kids to music performances of all genres in Birmingham. Through Scrollworks, kids are being exposed to things that they never would be otherwise. It is a program that is changing people lives. Jeane cashed in her retirement fund in order to start Scrollworks. Now the program relies on donations to continue. Children come from over an hour away in some instances to receive the music education offered by Scrollworks. Go to www.myorch.org for more information and to donate through Paypal. Jeane truly truly is a Truly Amazing Woman!
Leta and Lori Hamilton will be interviewing Alisha Michell on The Way of the Toddler Hour Tuesday, March 1st. This in-depth interview will give Alisha the opportunity to teach all that she knows about the relationship between our astrological imprint and Christianity. In this rare conversation with Alisha as a teacher, not just an astrologist and psychic, we will discuss how the two are not mutually exclusive, how our children can benefit from learning about their astrological charts and the other work that Alisha does with children to give them a unique insight into who they are as spiritual beings. Unlike Alisha’s other appearances on radio programs, this will not be a call in show where Alisha gives readings. Instead, Alisha will be asked questions by Leta and her co-host Lori that will give us all extraordinary information into the true nature of our being. Alisha’s web site is http://www.astroaware.com.

MONEY is theme of this show. With financial expert Bella Casarelle, we will explore the spiritual side of a healthy relationship with mulla.
BIO for Bella Casarella
Bella Casarella is a money coach/financial counselor based in the Seattle area as well as Australia. She has a passion for helping women claim their power and gain financial freedom through forming a healthy relationship with their money, enabling them to live their best lives.
Born and raised in Northeast, Bella graduated with a BS in Health Sciences and went on to spend her earlier career years working in the nonprofit sector in cancer research and communications. She then went on to work in a corporate setting in sales, advertising and marketing. Married at the time, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest, and after achieving a financially successful life but having little personal time to enjoy it, Bella began to question what it meant to live a more meaningful life, which she knew needed to include a balance in her money, time, and energy. Always interested in health, healing, and art, Bella began a personal journey and went on to study hands on energy work at the Barbara Brennan School of healing, and also became certified as an expressive arts practitioner.
Bella’s commitment to helping women is firmly rooted in her own personal experience with managing money. Having grown up with relative little money, but also having reached financial success, she wrestled with a range of fears and challenges in dealing with her own money after divorcing from a marriage of 11 years. Her journey with financial counseling began a decade ago when Bella immersed herself in the process of money coaching as a client. This was a life-changing experience, and now Bella draws on her personal experience, light-heartedness, and compassion to help women get clear and create financially health and meaningful lives that are congruent with their deepest values.
Bella is a passionate, life-long learner and seeker. When Bella isn’t helping her clients, she enjoys reading, hiking, painting, sailing, and spending time with her partner, Stephen, and others that are near and dear to her heart. So today we are talking to Bella, who has a practice as a money coach (feel free to add whatever you wish to add—or not—from my bio). Bella is here today to talk about having a healthy relationship with our moola!

The Truly Amazing Woman of the week is Mari Stevens. She is a parent educator and mom with an amazing story that needs sharing. Mari’s son is in first grade like mine. He came home one day and told Mari that he really hated going to lunch in the school cafeteria. There was a lunch monitor that intimidated him. This lunch lady genuinely terrified him and had even yelled at him a couple of times. Instead of calling the school, Mari offered to have lunch with her son in the cafeteria the next day. As they sat there she observed the chaotic atmosphere of the cafeteria and saw that the general environment was definitely not conducive to calmness. She asked her son to point out the woman who frightened him. This woman was older, probably in her fifties. She looked more than mean – she looked genuinely unhappy. Mari went up to her and began a conversation. The woman immediately put up her guard. She asked if Mari had come to complain about her. Mari didn’t say yes, but rather told this lunch lady that she could see what a difficult environment this must be in which to work. Mari acknowledged that this woman must have to work very hard under difficult circumstances. As an offering of gratitude for all of her hard work, she gave this lady a Starbuck’s gift card for $10. This woman broke down and started sobbing. She said no one had ever done anything so kind in all the 30 years she had been working in the cafeteria. She asked Mari to point out again her son and introduce them. She thanked Mari’s son profusely while holding back more sobs. Mari knows that her son will never have any problems in the cafeteria again. Mari had chosen to be kind instead of confrontational. When she told me this story, I literally ran out and bought myself a stash of $10 Starbuck’s gift cards to keep in my purse. What a lesson for us all! When you reach out and connect with the humanity of another person miracles happen.
February 8, 2011 – Interview with author Susan Haid
Susan A. Haid, B.S.N., M.A.., is the Creator of Lily’s Truth. The project was originally inspired by her three beautiful children. Susan’s vision was to build a body of knowledge for young people that would provide them with the tools necessary to become empowered individuals. The intention of this project is to provide fundamental real world skills along with basic spiritual truths which empower young people to create sovereign, joyous and fulfilling lives. Susan has been involved in consciousness transformation work for over two decades, yet she has woven this spiritual knowledge into practical, every day tools for kids, teens, parents and caregivers. The very same principles that apply to the world beyond apply to this world as well. Her “Extraordinary Child” Workshops utilize the elements of Lily’s Truth in a hands on experience that puts the principles of the book into a child at a much deeper level. Benjamin Matson-Bell, a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Oregon (#3382) has facilitated advanced CranioSacral Therapy (CST) since 1986. Gentle & non-invasive, CST is focused on supporting self-correction & balance. CranioSacral Therapy helps release abnormal tension in the connective tissue around the brain and spinal chord, the CranioSacral System (CSS), as well as facilitating synchronous and harmonious movement in the soft tissue of the entire body. Listening to the body’s story, this allows the release of abnormal & asymmetrical movement in all of the body’s connective tissue, creating balance in the mind/body and spirit.
